honestly, that's a hard question. technically it was naruto because i saw it at times on tv but i never really watched it. so it might be hellsing but i don't think i watched more than a few minutes.

i was mostly interested in slice of life when i started watching anime so it's probably a very popular slice of life anime like clannad or smth
