The anime is well animated and stuff, just not that faithful. If you don't care about that, then it's decent.
But if you want the "real" thing, then you should read the manga.

In any case, an anime is always "better" than a manga. Watching is less boring than reading.

Up in the air on the anime overall (both seasons) but will agree I powered through the manga, found it a great read and a bit disappointing to watch (at least comparatively, probably not bad overall, just suffered from comparison to the manga imo)

First season was killer, second felt so damn rushed, I could've been hooked for 4 seasons if they dragged it out some more.
