Trust me when I say that the only thing I throw at my Windows is my Windows Laptop. I can't stand this piece of garbage. :@

How old is it? And what Windows version? I recommend going to linux

Windows 8.1 like 2 years.

Is it just a cheap laptop?

Everything, it's practically falling apart. HP is unreliable.

I have a $500 HP pavilion 500, have had it for 3 years. Works really well i do fact resets every few months and clean the internals weekly to make sure it runs nicely. Never had a problem

Maybe that's my problem. I really need to get an External Hard Drive to keep my stuff on so I can constantly defrag and reset this machine.

Yeah I've got a friend that has a 1TB External Hard Drive and he said it's the best thing he owns. I may have to save up and get one.

Problem with that is most of them are just for spare parts. I'll see what I can find.
