The problem with pineapple on pizza is that there is no salt to balance the sweetness.  A little heat/spice does some wonders too.  Texture needs to be improved too.  So here is how to improve pineapple Pizza.
Salted almond slices - a lot of them.  Spread them in between layers of cheese as thick as the cheese is.  This fixes both the too sweet aspect because of the salt and the almond crunch offsets the juicy squish.  Add add either jalapeños if you like them on pizza, or sparingly add specialty habanero hot sauce.  Pick a clean upfront habanero sauce with little flavor and more heat that way you don't taint the flavor of the pizza and you just add a little heat.

Yeah bro you gotta put jalepenos and like olives or mushrooms or something on there too. Best way for pineapple is dipped in chili salt imo anyway so i'm into the weird combos.
