I cracked a RuneScape account with a Party Hat and H'ween mask set. I then sold the hat for $1000 and mask set for $100. We placed the money in our joint savings account and now we've got half of what we needed to buy a car.

No tools, just my intelligence ::)

And yep. I remember when they first dropped crackers. I joined 2 months before Christmas 2001. By August 2003 they were about 8M for cheapest and 12M for most expensive and crackers were about 15M. By 2007 they were about 90M for cheapest and 180M for most expensive. By 2010 they were 400M for cheapest and 800M for most expensive. Fast forward now, they are 2.4B for cheapest and 10B for most expensive. Red party hat being at 5B. So if each million is 18 cents, that's how much they are now.
