Yes this is free, but unfortunally most devices run IOS 11 or higer.
And its not a real unlock, it basicly opens some functions that you can use, but majority of the things you still cant use.
You cannot make phone calls / text / make pictures etc etc it unlocks a browser what you can use and some other minor things but those dont work half the time also..

to me if someone going to sell a iphone that is locked should not sell it over $100.. in fact should be cheap ...
i got one that been locked long time, iPhone 7 and one day i charge it up and the icloud was gone lol now its active phone ... not sure what happen there...
