Harry Potter movie actor Devon Murray contemplated suicide just months ago

HARRY Potter actor Devon Murray has revealed just how close he came to taking his own life only a few months ago.

The star – who played Seamus Finnigan in all eight of the movies in the franchise – admitted his depression was so bad at one point he threw a rope over bannister and was “pretty much ready to hang myself”. :-/

Thankfully Devon is in a "much better" place now he is able to "talk about everything". :shy:
He said: “Harry Potter was the best thing in my life but in a sense it kind of turned into some of the worst times of my life.
“So now I’m in a good place I want to get back into the saddle again and get out acting and just be me again and do what I love.”

My goodness, it's always dreadful to hear such a prominent part of a movie franchise was so close to suicide.
I always enjoyed the scenes were he blew himself up from magical misfires.

Glad to hear he didn't commit suicide though.
The actor who played one of the Goyle brothers got caught with drugs a few years back.

You hate to hear stuff like that, kinda hurts the memory of the movie.

well the truth is, that where is money, there is drugs, and where is drugs, life gets fucked up because of drugs, and even more in UK drugs are being used more than the public wifi

Yeah I've heard about the epidemic plaguing the UK, especially with those artifical spices that were legal and so many people were getting addicted to.
It's a sad and unfortunate cycle.

Personally I've always been a supporter of cannabis and recreational use.
I feel like if that wasn't such a damned and hated drug, more addicts would have a safer and more legal outlet and could more easily make the switch and help their lives all for the better.

Even Daniel Radcliffe suffered from severe alcoholism and showed up to the filming of Harry Potter blistered drunk.
He did reach sobriety though, but it's always such a sad thing to see child stars turn to that lifestyle.
