You may need a picture, and they may ask for it back, depends on who you get and how convincing you are.

Method:

Contact fitbit here: http://help.fitbit.com/customer/portal/emails/new
Fill out the form with a problem, say some bullshit like it doesn't power on. They might ask for a picture, or for you to send it back. If they ask you to send it back, make up some bullshit like you need it ASAP or call them and ask to speak to higher up.
