Decrypting a hash?

I'm not sure how this works or what section this'll go in. But I have a database that has hashes, and I'm not sure what to do with them (I'm not a rookie, just stupid.) Sorry for the stupidity in advance.   I've tried a decrypting website, and it didn't find the answer. So I'll ask my pally pals here~

If they are hashes they are only one way. If they are ciphered data then they can be decrypted. Please specify more on this.

They are data from a database, they're password encrypted hashes. Not sure if they're Md5 or not

MD5 is one way and the only way to find the password is to match the hash.
