Anime with an evil badass protagonist.

so as the title says im am tired of "save the world" crap, i am looking for something with evil protagonist. he doesn't necessarily need to be "evil" just evil from the point of view of the rest of the world would be enough like Death Note( where main kills bad guys and later needs to kill good guys to protect himself form getting caught).
Any suggestions guys.
