Can't buy emerald

Hey guys i'm a noob here so don't flame me please xD

For some reason I'm not allowed to buy emerald? I have $30 but I can't buy it :*(

You need to purchase each upgrade to unlock the next upgrade e.g. you buy gold and then you have the option to purchase the diamond upgrade etc.
