I think Battlefield 5 is the best when it comes to gunplay. The feel the guns have is just incredibly good. When it comes to map designs and overall atmosphere battlefield 1 was awesome. Especially with the music

In my opinion, it was BF3. Had a great weapon progression system, didn't have weird default loadouts on anything, and the campaign was immersive for a shooter.

BF4 really, really improved on some base mechanics, though.

Bad Company 2 was... a treasure in and of itself, but would not fly by today's standards.
