cut a hole in my aquarium, made a sump

On Saturday I drilled a hole in my aquarium with fish inside (I lowered the water level). I did two practice holes before starting on the main as it was my first time using a hole saw on glass. I now have freshwater plants on my floor  which are cycling the water from the tank. I have been wanting to do this for years.
