am i wrong to believe csgo is dying

I've had quite a few disagreements among my friends as to whether csgo is a dead or dying game. id say csgo is dying; its competitive scene is on a popularity decline, there are way better games out there now (csgo), and i think now that its free to play, they've already started the countdown to the games end.
any thoughts?

Yea it is dieing because i cant get into games easily anymore.

I still see tons of YouTube videos about it, I would say it's still alive but perhaps it's time for something new...
