Haven't written poetry in a while I think I still got it, tell me what you think eh?

I am who I am,
Not who you want me to be.
I am who I am,
So young, but not so free.

Literacy at its finest.
I am regarded as the king.
I am who I am,
So call me your highness.

I'm trapped inside,
The walls are stone.
17 years gone by,
The vines have grown.

So many words left unsaid,
Unkempt feelings that aren't expressed.
Vibes that are better left dead.

Long way from home,
Don't know where to go.
Always left to roam.

Life is ambiguous,
Talk about a double take.
My life can be regarded as contiguous.

We're no longer together,
The wind at my back,
Feelings will last forever.

I am who I am,
Not who you me want to be.
I am who I am,
So young, but now so free.
