I think I read something before of how you can block access to sites like YouTube just for your PC, and so you can't get distracted because the site would be blocked all together for a certain amount of time :P

I did something like that for facebook once. It was just a chrome add on c:

Yea as I said I think its pointless too :P Because if you wanted to, you would just open a new tab, which makes the whole thing pointless anyway as you said xD

You can choose a time, open any of your favourite sites then when the time is up, the tab will close. Could be useful if you needed to work and just wanted to take a 5 minute break :P
