Hi

Recently I've been rather sick with a cold, which is not anything big, but ironically, I have 2 oral presentations Monday. I was wondering if any of you had a remedy for this type of shit, and could share it with me. It would be very appreciated.

Thanks.

What kind of cold symptoms are you having? There is various things you could try. Are you feeling congested? Well Ima guess this is a common cold.
First of all drinking plenty of water and getting proper amount of sleep is always good.
You could try some over the counter medication for colds, Like dayquil and nyquil for sore throat. If you have a lot of congestion in your chest or sinuses you could try some Mucinex or flonase for nasal congestion.
If you are having body sores or headaches try Tylenol or advil(try not to take these on an empty stomach because it could upset the stomach because it stops the production of some substances) and always take proper dosages.

For a home remedy without these OTC stuff you could try:
Chicken Soup
Ginger
Echinacea
Vitamin C
Zinc Supplements

For your throat(since you said you have a presentation) you could try:
Salt Water, Honey, Echinacea and so on :)

Do you have any abdominal pain, vomiting or dizziness?

Anyways hope this helps man! Again I am not a doctor (yet ;3) so if things get worse (home remedies are not helping and what not) you can pay the doctor a visit and they can prescribe some stronger stuff for you.

Basically I currently only have a sore throat and a stuffed nose, but I want to prevent it from developing further.

Thanks for the methods though.

Just sit by a fire or lay in bed on your PC all day. Works for me!
Also, make sure your surroundings are nice and clean.
