I think Erdoğan is abusing his power and the coup was meant to help in the end - but he crushed it before it did anything.

Erdogan is a fucking dictator he is threatening Europeans that they ''will not walk safely on the streets'' if diplomatic rows continue, he pushed for diaspora voting by Turks living abroad hence sabotage elections. Take a look at the Netherlands and France, they can be designated as islamic nations at this point.

There is no way that THOUSANDS of turkish officials plotted this coup without him finding out, this coup is just an excuse to increase power and stay in power. EU membership my arse tbh
