Is its worth buying the amazon echo?

Ok just seen a ad on TV for the Amazon Echo

Its £149.99 GBP   now its not a stupid amount of money but is it worth it?


Like I have siri on my iphone lol but was looking at the Echo just want to hear your input

I haven't really thought about it, but if it can turn on my ceiling fan like it says it can do, I'd purchase it if I had cash to burn. Still, it wouldn't really be a priority.

Like Alex said, it's not a priority it's just something that would be nice to have if you had the money to blow. If you have other things that you actually need; I wouldn't bother buying it.
