Instagrams new design / logo. love it or hate it?

I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but I'm not a major fine design-wise of the logo, however the overall UI looks very pleasing, one thing I don't like as an android user is how they are blending both ios and android ui's slowly together, anyone else notice this? Thoughts?

I like the UI but they should have either enhanced the original icon or just stayed with how it was.

Theme looks nice B&W but the new logos for instagram and their other apps? not a fan of them.

Powerpoint > background > gradient fill > instagram logo colour.

I'd rather have the old logo back... but the new theme and such? its pretty damn clean.
