How to easily track email leads

For years i have been ticking in a serverless way to capture emails. I found that this is not possible and in any case it will require some elements to be hosted on a server. After overthinking this issue i come up with two solutions, the first don't require any hosting and the second only require a free hosting plan. So i will enter in detail next...

Solution 1:
The solution 1 is quite simple and i have used in a few projects that i have develop. The solution basically takes advantage of bitly api and a xml/ajax request to create a new bitly link that record the url formation. Adding the email as a variable following the actual url will record the user email in bitly control panel.

Solution 2:
The solution 2 requires hosting of a *.html file with the code from StatCounter. StatCounter is the leader in web statistics. In this solution we create a form where the user enters there email and hit the button that forward the form details to a hidden iframe window that calls the *.html file. The form must be GET to log the information because POST do not pass the parameters in the url.

Here it is the 2 solutions to save an email, does anyone have any aditional ideas to save emails?
