Bitcoin (BTC) at the time of writing this has a circulating supply of 17,504,912 BTC with the current market cap at $61,913,487,315

The max supply is 21,000,000 BTC so yes we are close 3,500,000 away. What does it mean for it to run out? Well first of before we can get there the difficulty will continue to rise making it harder and harder to mine new BTC. This drives the price up and the closer we get to the cap the harder it gets. So we still have years ahead of us and if you put money into it you can make a profit, though you can also lose all your money. It is a highly volatile market. What happened with BTC rising to almost $20,000 is because it was artificially inflated the chances of it ever getting there again is very low

Most people seem to use BTC as an alternative to PayPal as BTC is slowly stabilizing.

btc is predicted to high a all time high by late 2019 or early 2020 were talking hundreds of thousands. invest now
