I agree I hate it. Personally, I think that it is the only thing holding the site back from being more known. Because users come on here get some credits and buy the thing to check the thread then turns out to be not what they bought.

It's probably just because when you're starting out getting credits is more of a priority as compared to when you're either upgraded or have been active on the forum a while.
