On going pro you mean joining the Army and playing for the Army, then yes.

I meant as in the professional league, but that works as well I guess.

I'm thinking on going into the Army as well.

I've taken an interest into the 35Q(Quebec) which is Cryptologic Network Warfare Specialist. It's a pretty neat job but you need to be selected and you can't be legible straight out of high-school or college. I believe you need to be a grunt first or some lower end cyber MOS.
