10.0.0.0.1 Portal – What It Is and How to Access Router Settings

Many users search for the 10.0.0.0.1 portal when trying to open their router or modem login page. In most cases, 10.0.0.0.1 is an incorrect or mistyped IP address. The correct router gateway is usually 10.0.0.1, not 10.0.0.0.1.
The confusion happens because IP addresses look very similar, but even one extra zero makes the address invalid. When users enter 10.0.0.0.1, the portal does not open because this IP is not assigned to router admin panels.
To access the correct router portal:
  • Make sure your device is connected to the router network
  • Open a web browser
  • Enter 10.0.0.1 in the address bar
  • Log in using the admin username and password
The router admin portal allows users to:
  • Change Wi-Fi name and password
  • Manage connected devices
  • Adjust security and firewall settings
  • Troubleshoot internet connection problems
If the 10.0.0.0.1 portal does not load, double-check the IP address printed on your router label or provided by your ISP. Using the correct IP will give you proper access to router settings.
This topic is useful for beginners who are learning about router login portals and basic network configuration.
