What is a Firewall?

A firewall is a security system used to protect a computer network from unauthorized access. Its main function is to block unwanted traffic and allow only legitimate traffic through the network.

What is a WAF?

A WAF, or web application firewall, is a tool used to protect web applications from attacks. A WAF works by analyzing HTTP traffic and blocking any traffic that is malicious or suspicious.

Difference between Firewall and WAF

The main difference between a firewall and a WAF is that the firewall is responsible for protecting the network in general, while the WAF focuses on protecting specific web applications. The firewall controls inbound and outbound network traffic, while the WAF focuses on HTTP/HTTPS traffic.

To bypass a firewall, you can use a number of methods, such as using a proxy or a tunnel.

To bypass a WAF, you can use a brute-force attack or a code injection attack.

You can also use DDoS attacks to overload firewalls and WAFs.

I hope you find it useful , if you have more methods you can write it in the post , thanks
